The 6-color naica® system utilizes Crystal Digital PCR® technology, which partitions samples into a large array of thousands of individual droplets – each its own reaction compartment – before amplifying nucleic acid molecules in each droplet, for the absolute quantification of nucleic acids based on cutting-edge microfluidic technology. These reactions are tagged with fluorophores to be read using up to six different fluorescence light channels.
